Binghamton University & New York University
Big Apple Swing
NOVEMBER 12-13, 2005

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Binghamton University and New York University Forensics teams I would like to cordially invite you to our second annual Big Apple Swing on November 12-13, 2005 in the greatest city in the world, New York.

Both halves of the swing will be hosted on NYU's campus in beautiful Greenwich Village, and we will be offering all 11 AFA-NIET events, including LD - which will run continually through both days. We understand that the city is a bit pricey so we will be offering low fees and a list of low to moderately priced hotels in both the city and the city's little sister, NJ. There will be two preliminary rounds of IE events during each tournament and four LD prelims over the course of the two days. We will also have Individual and School sweeps both days. In order to make the tournament run smoothly we ask that students enter only two events per bracket. To be eligible for individual sweeps, a competitor must have at least 4 events total and at least one interp and one PA or LP event.

We look forward to seeing you all in November for this exciting opportunity not only to compete in forensics, but also to enjoy New York City!!

Please feel free to contact Kristen or myself with any questions or concerns you might have.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Guthrie
